Hammer Haus III offers 4 separate bedrooms. Guests may use the shared main floor living room, dining room, kitchen and 3 season sunroom. Each bedroom offers it's own smart t.v. , comfy robes and security lock on each bedroom door.
Located 1.9 km from the University of Waterloo and Hi Tech Park. Ideal for the visiting professor, parents of UW students or tourists going to the St. Jacob's Market.
Private or street parking available.
I will greet you at the house and show you around. I'm available for questions on the area. I'm always available for a cup of tea or coffee if my guests would like. Otherwise, I know how to make myself scare, so my guests can enjoy their privacy.
We're located just 1.9 km. from the University of Waterloo and the David Johnston Tech Park. The St. Jacob's Market is only 5 km away and is open Thurs. and Saturdays, year round. In the summer months, the market is open on Tuesdays as well. Both the Antique market and the St. Jacob's Outlet Mall is within walking distance of the St. Jacob's Market and Playhouse. Don't forget about the wonderful shops in the Village of St. Jacob's, just 3 km. down the road!
It's easiest to travel by car, but #9 bus which stops at our corner will get you to the University of Waterloo within 15 minutes. If you feel like some exercise, you can reach the University within a 20 min. walk.
Quiet hours: 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
Please remove shoes in the house.
Please keep food and drink on the main floor.
Water is allowed in the room.
Only registered guests allowed on the premises.
No parties of any kind.
No pets.
Property not suitable for children under 5 years.
NO SMOKING or vaping of any kind. $300.00 fine for smoking inside or outside on the premises, or damage to anything due to smoking. Fine is payable immediately and reservation terminated immediately with no refund.

FREE Overnight parking registry - Contact: City of Waterloo -Free Street Parking or Register for overnight parking.
Register your name, license plate number and date of parking (morning between 2:00 am and 6:00 am). One is allowed to park 15 nights on city streets. Register online at: https://onp.cloud.waterloo.ca
If you park overnight on the street and don't register, you will get a ticket!

Late Checkout Rules: House rules allow us to discuss a late check out, so please use the message box to ask us. You can have a 12:30 p.m. checkout, if we authorize it for $25.00 extra, instead of the regular 11:00 a.m. check out. Please inquire if you would like a late check-out and we'll see if we can work with you on that. Please do so in advance, because it gets more expensive, if you ask for a late check out the same day.
Otherwise late checkout after 11:00 am is a full day fee.

We have had the privilege of travelling the world, visiting more than 35 countries during the last 10 years. In late 2018, we returned to Canada and started our guest rooms and suites at "Hammer Haus". Now, instead of travelling the world, the world is coming to us! We've enjoyed hosting guests from many countries including: England, Germany, Russia, Brazil, France, Ireland, Scotland, China, Korea, Australia, USA and many parts of Canada.
