This is a very comfy room with the best of linens and comforters. It offers a smart t.v., warm robes and the shared bath is located across the hall. The mattress is a double which provides a very comfortable space for one guest. This room is ideal for the travelling professional who wants a clean comfortable room close to the University of Waterloo, Hi Tech Park or St. Jacob/s Farmer's Market.
Guests have shared use of main floor living room, kitchen, dinette and bath.
We will greet you and show you around. We are available for information on the local area and will gladly share a cup of coffee or pot of tea. Otherwise, we give our guests their "private space" to enjoy their stay.
We have a digital lock on the front door and your bedroom door. If I am unable to greet you in person, then I will email you the codes 24 hr. before your arrival.
This property is located within easy walking distance of the University of Waterloo (1.9 km) away. #9 Bus is located at the corner and is only a 15 minute bus ride to the University. Laurel Creek Conversation area is within an easy walk. The St. Jacob's Farmers Market, St. Jacob's Outlet Mall and Antique Mall is within 5 minute drive.
A fabulous German bakery and quick grocery store is within walking distance.
#9 bus will take you to the University of Waterloo in 15 minutes.

You can have a 12:30 p.m. checkout, if we authorize it for $25.00 extra, instead of the regular 11:00 a.m. check out. Please inquire if you would like a late check-out and we'll see if we can work with you on that. Please do so in advance, because it gets more expensive, if you ask for a late check out the same day.
Otherwise late checkout after 11:00 am is a full day fee.

We have had the privilege of travelling the world, visiting more than 35 countries during the last 10 years. In late 2018, we returned to Canada and started our guest rooms and suites - "Hammer Haus". Now, instead of travelling the world, the world is coming to us! We've enjoyed hosting guests from many countries including: England, Germany, Russia, Brazil, France, Ireland, Scotland, China, Korea, Australia, USA and many parts of Canada. We are delighted to share our home and gardens with our guests and hear about their travels. If you are interested in a "home away from home", Hammer Haus is the perfect place! In 2020, we opened Hammer Haus II. This property offers closer access to the University of Waterloo and David Johnston's Research and Technology Park. This location is very convenient for visiting professors, parents visiting their children in university and business people working in the Hi-Tech Park. Whatever reason brings you to Waterloo, we are delighted to host you in one of our locations.Location
